A fanart from A Song of Ice and Fire, Daenerys and Drogo, my favorite couple from the series... this was a private commission I received this summer, I love this couple so much that I couldnīt deny.

I retouched the colors and the bg in photoshop recently. I donīt know why scanned watercolors suck : (

I love how you drew them, can you just illustrate the ENTIRE series like this, lol? Daenerys looks so cute, and the watercolors lend a storybook feel to this, it's really great. :)

That's right. He did have bells in his hair in the book. I thought that was rather silly, but you made it look pretty cool.

And you know what else? I'm already getting the feeling that in the book, he's just a big ol' teddy bear. I'm only into the part where the king and Ned Stark are going back to King's Landing. But in the book, it doesn't imply that Drogo raped Dany at all. In fact, he asked her permission before engaging in foreplay.
